As (Senior) Frontend Developer for ADAM, you will be part of a truly cross-functional product team, closely collaborating with Data Scientists, Backend Developers, UX Designers and the Product Owner. Your primary responsibility will be to build the frontend of full-scale applications, including design, development, testing and delivery. In particular, for ADAM, with your team you work on solutions to connect scientists with an AI-based back-end. This involves visualization of large amounts of data. With your technical expertise, you develop code with the right quality, test coverage and documentation for the intended use of the new functionality, ranging from rapid prototyping to production grade software. You help the team to find this balance across skill profiles. You support, maintain and optimize our development and production system environments including the continuous delivery pipeline. With your team, you take complete responsibility for managing the development of the product. In conversations at eye-level with Product Owner and users you provide full advice on all technical aspects of the product. Mentoring and guiding less experienced colleagues is natural to you. Requirements At least Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable experience First-hand experience of the intense collaboration in an agile software development team Professional experience with excellent understanding and expert knowledge in state-of the art programming languages and frontend technologies, in particular React Proficiency in HTML5/CSS and building responsive adaptive applications Experience in continuous development and deployment tools as well as container platforms and management systems (OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, etc.) Proven track record to run, maintain and debug complex systems in production Experience visualizing large data sets is beneficial Self-directed working and able to contribute and see ahead of the current development timeline Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced team members English communication skills on a professional level (verbal and written)   Why you should join You get to shape how software product design works at BI You are part of an amazing product team and work at a sustainable pace You develop a digital product to help world-class scientists invent the drugs of the future Our benefits Good deve
