As Team Lead in our Global Business Services (GBS), you work in a globally operating team that designs, implements and continuously improves Boehringer Ingelheim’s global Supply Chain Processes. Tasks & responsibilities As Team Lead Operations Planning Process Management, you are responsible for the definition, implementation and support of globally harmonized business processes and application systems in the area of Production Planning. In your new role, you lead a team of (Senior-)Process Managers acting as global Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers and consultants to key stakeholders from the business units, IT and local country organizations. With your expertise, you develop your team according to our internal company initiative guidelines in order to ensure a competitive talent pipeline within GBS. By doing so, you focus on coaching your team members and foster an open feedback culture. Moreover, you take over responsibility for the governance and design of the processes and create global standards for the business units. One of your key tasks is understanding and discussing business unit strategies und IT Target Landscape aspects as basis to standard determination. In collaboration with our IT department, you develop and maintain project roadmaps for process implementations among the global BI supply network. Furthermore, you drive successful project completion, ensuring successful business transformation and change management. Managing the continuous improvement of existing processes and ensuring accurate business support is also part of your responsibilities. In particular, this includes training, validation, governance, handling of new demands, measuring KPIs, continuous improvement and key user community management. With your convincing leadership skills and your cross-functional experience, you act as Project Manager for strategic projects, thus creating excellent results. Requirements Master’s degree in a process area relevant for Production Planning, Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning Several years of experience in the Operations Planning process domain, or in neighboring Supply Chain Process areas; Additional experience in Production Execution processes preferred Experienced leadership personality with proven people management track record; identification with the values of our internal Core Lea
